Prospective students and families experience the magic of Miss Hall’s
The campus teemed with activity on Saturday, October 2, as prospective students and their families met with members of the MHS community, sat in on classes, watched our sports teams in action, and more!
The day began with a welcome reception and remarks from Head of School Julia Heaton P’24 and Director of Admissions & Enrollment Management David Hopkins P’24.
Students could then choose among interactive learning experiences led by our faculty:
- Indigenous People: An Exploration of Homelands, with History Teacher Liza Burbank
- The Nature of Miss Hall's: Seaching for Salamanders, with Science Teacher Kennedy Raimer
- Drawing Collages with Ellie, with Expressive Arts Department Chair Ellie Kreischer
- Voices Become One: Using Ceramic Medium as a Form of Expression, with Ceramics Teacher G. Grosenbeck
- Gender and Poetry, with English Teacher Rebecca Cook-Dubin P’24
While students participated in amazing classes, parents attended panels about Academics or Student Life, or a conversation with MHS parents Kenzie Fields P’24, Terry Kabue P’22, Julie Lombardi P’20, ’22, and Sienna Patti P’23.

The morning also included a Q&A session with current students about classes, clubs, athletics, student life, and more, while parents attended a Q&A with the Deans of Academics, Equity and Inclusion, and Student Life.
After lunch, prospective students joined in a campus-wide scavenger hunt with our Admissions Ambassadors, while parents could learn more about Personalized Family Tuition at MHS.
The day concluded with campus tours, Admissions interviews, and contests for JV and varsity volleyball and varsity soccer.
And, the weather was absolutely fabulous — there is nothing like fall in the Berkshires!
