Miss Hall’s Today + Tomorrow

This fall, school leaders are bringing Miss Hall’s alums, families, and friends together across the U.S. to create meaningful, in-person connections.

During the past six months, our community has been grappling with the profound impact of historical sexual misconduct. While the investigation is in process, our focus is on student safety and prevention, as well as on community care. Simultaneously, we remain committed to fostering growth and to the Miss Hall’s mission to inspire bold and creative contributors to the common good.

We are traveling over the next few months with Learning Courage — our partners in misconduct response, prevention, and healing — to meet Miss Hall’s folks where they are.

The gatherings take two distinct formats, each addressing important aspects of our future.

1. Miss Hall's Today: An Evening of Conversation and Connection

New York, NY: October 21, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Washington, DC: October 29, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Boston, MA: November 20, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Los Angeles, CA: January 29, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

What to expect: Head of School Julia Heaton and Learning Courage Executive Director Amy Wheeler will discuss life on campus in this 127th year of MHS and what we are doing to improve. In the second half of the conversation, Amy will offer an optional private space for alums to process and support.

Why attend:

  • Hear from Julia about the MHS holistic student experience
  • Learn how we’re making our school safer and stronger
  • Engage with other alums in a supportive space to reflect and grow together.

2. What’s Next: Women At The Helm

New York, NY: October 22, 6:00 - 8;00 p.m.
Washington DC: October 27, 2:00- 4:00 p.m.
Boston, MA: November 21, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Los Angeles, CA: January TBD

What to expect: Building on the energy of last year's Be Bold tour, this evening will feature generative discussion centered on accelerating women’s leadership in historically male-dominated fields.

Why attend:

  • Contribute to forward-thinking dialogue about the future of Miss Hall’s
  • Explore how women are breaking barriers in key industries
  • Connect with others in substantive ways.

If you are interested in joining, please email events@misshalls.org and include the date and location of your preferred event(s).

Each gathering is intentionally limited in size to foster the kind of meaningful connection that alums, family, and friends are seeking at this moment.

We hope to see you soon!
