When Argante and Geronte are called away on business, they leave their sons, Ottavio and Leandro in the care of their servants, the rascal Scapino and his occasionally reluctant best pal, Sylvestro. With the best of intentions, Scapino sets out to help Ottavio, who has married Giacinta, and Leandro, who has fallen for Zerbinetta, win approval from their parents. Not surprisingly, Scapino’s machinations aren’t always successful — often in hilarious ways.
