Be Bold Campaign Nears the Finish Line
$75 million initiative in support of girls’ and women’s leadership marks the 125th anniversary of Miss Hall’s School
Aligned with our strategic priorities — innovative programs, inclusive and joyful community, faculty growth and collaboration, and a shared commitment to the common good — Miss Hall’s School has embarked on an ambitious, $75 million fundraising campaign.
The Be Bold Campaign has raised more than $74 million in support of girls’ and women’s leadership, teaching excellence, and improvements to the School’s historic campus. It sets the stage for the next 125 years of Miss Hall’s. So close!
About the Campaign
Bold gifts have already had a game-changing impact on our beautiful, 80-acre campus:
Academics
- Built Linn Hall, our state-of-the-art STEM facility
- Created a dedicated Department of Engineering and Technology Innovation
- Developed a dynamic curriculum of 80+ foundational, elective, and Hallmark courses
- Renovated Thompson Humanities Wing
- Improved Elizabeth Gatchell Klein Arts Center
Student Life
- Established Dean of Equity and Inclusion position
- Built New Residence Hall
- Renovated Margaret Witherspoon Hall

Celebrating Boldness
On September 24, 2022, Miss Hall’s graduates from across six decades gathered with donors, friends, and strategic partners at the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C. to celebrate the launch of the Be Bold Campaign. The gala was hosted by Emeritus Trustees Jacquie Mars ’57 and Robin Woods ’58.
Taking its title from Alicia Eggert's neon and steel artwork, the Renwick’s exhibition, “This Present Moment: Crafting a Better World,” sparked essential conversations among Be Bold Gala guests about the leadership needed to create change.
Stephanie Stebich, the Margaret and Terry Stent Director of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, gave a powerful keynote address about bold women’s leadership. MHS School President Cherish Buxton ’23 and Vice President Viola Quiles ’23 brought down the house with inspiring remarks about what boldness means to them.
