Life at Miss Hall’sA day in the life
A typical day? No such thing.
Your schedule will be tailored to you — classes aligned to your interests, clubs chosen by your passion — so there’s no such thing as “typical” at Miss Hall’s. Here is just a glimpse at some of the possible days you’ll have.

AM
This is one of the most fun classes on campus. I walk into the Woods Theater every day with the joy of expressing my emotions and learning more about how to find meaning in performance. We warm up with a dance, then get started!
AM
In U.S. History, I learn about important events and people in the United States, from the Colonial period to the Civil War. We delve into the American War of Independence, the creation of the Constitution, and the conflicts that led to the Civil War to understand how these histories affect America today.
AM
Time with friends and catch up on work.
PM
Chef Russ and the Culinary Team do a great job of making us feel at home with the food. They will even make our recipies from home!
PM
Today, we started with reading, then Mr. Scullin had us do a daily check-in. We split into groups to discuss questions about our reading. Everyone was really engaged, and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun.
PM
After classes, I ride with the equestrian team. We begin each session with warm-up exercises, then each of us ride. We practice controlling the horse’s direction and speed, which is exciting and challenging.
PM
As the head of the Guzheng Club, I prepare in advance for our activities and bring club members together to practice. I help everyone, especially new members, review the basics, so they can get started faster. There are about 20 people in the club, and I try to answer any questions they have and help them improve. Through these activities, I am also learning and improving! Guzheng Club is not only a place to learn how to play, but it is also a space for people to share and communicate together.
PM
Some down time in the Dining Room with friends.
PM
Before heading to Study Hall, I drop into the Klein Arts Center to work on some of my art. It's a great way to unwind at the end of the day, and the studio is always open.
PM
Time to hit the books. We have Study Hall each night, Sunday through Thursday. It’s a great way to stay ahead of homework and class assignments and helps me manage my workload. It is great to have a dedicated time when we are all at work.
