Support our students this Giving Tuesday

205 Gifts for 205 Students

This Giving Tuesday, let's demonstrate to every student at Miss Hall's that they are seen, valued, and supported. Each gift is a vote of confidence in their potential to become bold, healthy, global citizens ready to make a difference.

Together, let's reach our goal of 205 gifts by December 3 - one meaningful contribution for each student in our vibrant community.

Our Thriving Community

This year we have a full house (!) and the energy on campus is tremendous

  • 205 students from 23 countries and 11 states
  • 64% students of color
  • 73 new students
  • a remarkable 95% retention of students from last year.

The focus of the 2024-25 school year is the holistic student experience at MHS -- making sure all are healthy, global citizens prepared to contribute boldly and creatively to the common good.

Choose Your Impact

Each contribution brings us closer to our goal of 205 gifts. Your support ensures every student has access to the full Miss Hall's experience, from wellness programs and tuition support to advanced study and experiential learning.

  • Health + wellbeing
Help us nurture every student's mental and physical health. From ninth-grade orientation to a robust Social Emotional Learning curriculum, your support allows us to offer crucial wellness services, including workshops, counseling, and telehealth access with licensed therapists 24/7 — all at no extra cost.
  • Tuition support
Make a transformative education accessible for girls from all backgrounds through our indexed tuition program, tailored to each family’s unique financial circumstances.
  • Advanced study + experiential learning
Empower students to explore and excel in fields like Neuroscience, Mechanical Engineering, and East Asian History. In Horizons, our service-learning and internship program, students gain real-world experience and essential skills for life.
  • Access for all students to the full MHS experience
Make it possible for all students to enjoy everything MHS offers: athletics, arts, dorm life, weekend activities, and our zero-cost Academic Skills Center.

Every gift matters because every student matters.

Help us reach our goal by December 3, and make sure all students feel supported! As part of the giving process, you'll have an opportunity to write a personal note of encouragement to a student. We will hand deliver your note before the holidays -- one note for every student!

Never in the course of our history have we seen 205 gifts made in such a short period of time, so the challenge is ON.

Give easily via Venmo, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, credit card, bank transfer, donor-advised funds, or check. Challenge friends, classmates, and family to join you in opening a world of possibilities. Here’s how.

Health + wellbeing at Miss Hall’s starts in 9th grade orientation and includes a 19-lesson curriculum that engages girls in seminar-style learning on topics such as school adjustment, communication, healthy boundaries, sex education, substance use and abuse, technology, body image, and nutrition, as well as mental health topics such as stress, anxiety, and depression.

Led by the Dean of Wellness and supported by the Student Life team, Social Emotional Learning at MHS includes a series of developmental workshops throughout the year for students in all four grades on themes such as healthy relationships, avoiding overwhelm, and self-advocacy.

Our Health and Wellness Center is staffed by four nurses and three licensed mental health counselors. In addition, we partner with UWill, a network of licensed therapists who provide extra mental health and wellness support 24/7/365 via telehealth, expanding availability and enabling quick access to counselors outside of the School and beyond MHS counseling hours. With a goal of eliminating all barriers to care, UWill counselors reflect the identities of all students and work with them in their native languages.

Thanks to you, these services are open to every student at no extra cost.

More than 70% of Miss Hall’s students receive tuition support through our Personalized Family Tuition program. This transparent, indexed tuition model offers a sliding scale based on each family’s financial circumstances.

We are committed to making the Miss Hall’s experience possible for girls from all backgrounds, and your support makes it happen.

Learning at MHS is advanced, experiential, and joyful.

More than 70 innovative courses offer each girl choice and voice as they build a strong academic foundation, explore new areas, take intellectual risks, and dive into particular fields in greater depth as their interests evolve. New electives and Hallmark courses this year include Neuroscience, Mechanical Engineering, American Narratives, Literature and Censorship, East Asian History, and Freshwater and Marine Ecosystems.

In Horizons, the service learning and internship program unique to MHS, all students engage in formative moments of practice: community building, leadership development, and career exploration. They volunteer and work in 75 local businesses, professional offices, nonprofits, and arts organizations in the Berkshires, gaining early professional experience and important tools for life.

Your support makes this possible.

Your gift to access and enrichment at Miss Hall's enhances:

  • Athletics & the arts: Enabling every student to engage, compete, and create in a dynamic environment.
  • Residential life: Providing meaningful dorm life experiences and enriching weekend activities.
  • Academic Skills Center: Delivering zero-cost academic support to help students thrive.
